Day 63: Measurement Update
As I mentioned before, I decided to take some of my body measurements about every 3 weeks to have a non-scale way to measure my progress. This includes measuring several different body areas, including the main ones that I list below – my arm, chest, waist, hips and thigh. (I measure other ones too, but don’t individually report them on the blog).
I just completed my week 9 measurement update, and I have listed the main ones below.
I know that the BMI (or Body Mass Index) isn’t the best measure, but it does give a general sense of overall health. So, I’ve included it as a number to track with my measurements. Since the number is also high, it will be great to see it trend downwards.
Measurement Update – Week 9
Since the last measurement update about 3 weeks ago, I have lost an additional 9.75 inches!
That means that since the start 9 weeks ago, I have lost a total of almost 33 inches (32.75 to be exact…). And it looks like I’ve been losing a little bit everywhere, which is great.
32.75 Inches Smaller
I am glad that I decided to monitor measurements as part of this process. In addition to getting healthier, I can feel myself getting smaller and my clothes becoming looser. And when I look at my measurement chart, I can see why!
Once again, I am happy with these lost inches and promise myself never again to find them:)
