Day #55:
Current weight: 283.4 lbs,
Total weight loss: 22.4 lbs. (+4 since yesterday – agh!)
Well, I have some great news and some not-so-great news today.
You can probably guess the not-so-great news above. Yup, my weight is up 4 pounds since yesterday, which I know is mainly fluid. And this is because I had a mini-binge yesterday afternoon (sigh). The first time I have really gone off my guidelines since the start (ugh). I’ll elaborate more on this in Part II of this post.
But first….the GREAT news. And that is that I fit into smaller jeans again yesterday!! On Day 54 of this wellness endeavor, I went down to a size 20! Now I realize that this is still a huge size, but since I started at size 24, I still consider it quite an accomplishment.
Some of you may recall that last summer I bought the same jeans in size 24 to 14, mainly to use as inspiration.
I started in the size 24, which had an inseam of 47 inches (!!). And now I’m wearing the size 20’s which have an inseam of 40 inches. Now that is definitely progress.
And I have to say, looking at the photos, the size 20 jeans seem so small compared to the size 24. It’s hard to believe that my waist, and hips, and thighs have shrunk enough to fit into them. (But I don’t have to imagine it – because they have!!)
And then I look to the smallest of the bunch — the size 14 — and I can’t believe how little they seem. Even though this is still considered a larger (plus) size. But today, it doesn’t matter because:
My size 20 jeans fit!!
Smaller Jeans, Again!
This is a another great Non-Scale Victory and I am excited about it.
The next step will be to leave the size 20’s for good. Size 18, here I come!
